The cloth

Thick fabric is the design.

Made for real winters

You wear it sixteen hours a day. It should be on your side.

Synthetic fleece sheds microplastics into your air, your wash and your skin. Ours can't — there's nothing synthetic in it. Dense natural fiber breathes, regulates heat and gets softer with every wash, not balder.

  • 01GOTS-certified organic cotton, low-impact or undyed colour.
  • 02No formaldehyde finishes, no anti-wrinkle coatings, no azo dyes.
  • 03Compostable at end of life — buttons, label, thread and all.
The land we make on

Made on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səlilwətaɬ Nations.

OSSE designs and sews in Vancouver, on lands whose peoples have stewarded these forests, rivers and coastlines since time immemorial. Each year, the Artist Series hands one garment to a Coast Salish artist as a canvas — named, credited and paid on every unit.

You won't find borrowed motifs anywhere in our catalogue. Indigenous art appears on an OSSE garment only when an Indigenous artist puts it there. Appreciation, never appropriation. Read more →

Four laws. No exceptions.

LAW 01

No plastic, ever.

Not in the fiber, thread, button or mailer. If it can't return to soil, it doesn't ship.

LAW 02

Five garments only.

Refined every season, never multiplied. Depth over clutter.

LAW 03

Priced fairly, always.

Best-grade material at honest margins. The price is the price.

LAW 04

No logos outside.

One woven label inside, a tonal mark at the hem. That's it.

Kept, worn, trusted

What people keep saying.

"The heavy tee is the only one I reach for now. Two years in and it still holds its shape — everything else in the drawer feels flimsy next to it."
Marisol T. · Vancouver, BC
"Ordered the hoodie in Cedar and a soap set on a whim. The packaging alone — all paper, zero plastic — told me these people mean it."
Devon R. · Tofino, BC
"I gave the candle duo to my brother and kept the Sea Fog one for myself. Genuinely the most 'grown-up' scent I've found. Slow, clean, not sweet."
Priya M. · Toronto, ON
